I did this cake for my nephew's birthday over a year ago. It was my first attempt at a tiered cake and covering it with fondant. It was definitely a learning experience and I learned a lot about what to do and what not to do after making this.

Grandma Jan's 74th Birthday
If you haven't noticed, I enjoy making birthday cakes for my family. I saw a cake in a magazine that looked similar to this and I thought I'd try my hand at it for my Grandma Jan's cake.
Happy Birthday Mom
My mom's a big fan of sweets and desserts, as am I. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a cake made of chocolate and peanut butter for her birthday.
Summer Wedding Bells
I actually made every single pink bow and attached them to the cupcake liners. Wow, was this time consuming. It was all worth it because they looked so cute, but I think I'll just buy bows that are already made next time!!
Nana's Birthday
This cake was something that I whipped up pretty quickly using some buttercream frosting and some fondant heart cutouts to celebrate my Nana's 78th birthday.
Huxley's 4th Birthday
Huxley was super excited about his Cincinnati Bengals birthday back in March. I had lots of fun making this cake even though I'm a "cheese head" at heart. Who would have thought he'd change his mind and be anti-Bengals and a Green Bay Packers fan now?!!
